What we help with
Anxiety Therapy
When your mind is always planning for what could go wrong, even ordinary days can feel exhausting. We help you understand the patterns underneath anxiety and practice responding with more choice and less fear.
Request a consultationWhen worry takes up too much room
Anxiety may look like racing thoughts, tension, overthinking conversations, trouble sleeping, or feeling unable to relax even when things seem fine. It can also show up as avoidance, perfectionism, irritability, or a constant sense that you should be doing more. Some people have lived with it for years without calling it anxiety.
At Wild Roots Therapy, we work with adults who want a better relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and bodies. You do not need to be in crisis. We start with what anxiety is doing in your life and what you would like to be different.
How we work with anxiety
Understand the cycle
Together we notice what sets anxiety in motion, how you try to find relief, and which strategies help only for a moment.
Practice in real time
Therapy may include experiential and body-aware work, helping you recognize anxiety as it happens and try new responses at a manageable pace.
Make room for your life
We connect the work to your relationships, work, rest, and the things you value, with practical steps between sessions when useful.
Is it anxiety, OCD, trauma, or stress?
These experiences can overlap, and you do not have to sort them out alone. If worry involves intrusive thoughts and rituals or repeated reassurance, a more specific OCD approach may fit. If your nervous system feels persistently on guard after difficult experiences, trauma work may be part of the conversation. We collaborate with you on a plan rather than asking you to pick a method from a list.
Explore ERP for OCD, somatic therapy, and our therapists. We offer in-person sessions in Salt Lake City and virtual sessions in Utah, depending on clinician availability.
