Hi, I’m Macy.
I’m a therapist based in Salt Lake City working with adults navigating the complexities of trauma, identity, relationships, neurodivergence, and the often confusing experience of being human. I especially love working with neurodiverse clients, sexual trauma survivors, and people healing from environments where they learned they had to disconnect from themselves to survive.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I’m less interested in “fixing” you and more interested in helping you understand yourself with more compassion and curiosity. I believe symptoms often make sense in context, and that healing tends to happen when we feel safe enough to explore our stories honestly. A big part of our work is helping you unlearn the stigma you may carry about your own patterns such as avoidance, chaos, shame, etc. This is not to avoid accountability, but to create lasting change.
Attachment
I draw from EMDR, attachment-based/relational therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and somatic and experiential approaches. That said, I try not to make therapy feel overly clinical or rigid. I want our work together to feel human while still maintaining a clear therapeutic direction. I am warm and direct when needed. Above all else, I deeply value creating a relationship where you feel genuinely seen, not analyzed from across the room.
More About
Outside of therapy, I’m usually somewhere outdoors trail running, hiking, or finding new spots to dip my feet in the water. Nature, movement, and connection deeply shape the way I understand healing, both personally and professionally.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m honored to get to walk alongside people in the middle of their healing and self-discovery.
